Subject: News of the day
Well first, I should say that Spuzz is wrong. The mountains climbing commandos are in fact Australians, not New Zealanders. This film is a little long and a little to boring. Great shots of an f-100 Super Saber and b-50 for those aircraft buffs out there!

Subject: Silly Rebels! Fire is for kids!
In this volume we see..
The suez canal's fate is decided, as countries meet to decide who owns it. The US, of course, wants jurisdiction over it. Egypt, where the canal is actually located, boycotts the meeting. This decision is celebrated by the people and the president (!)
A forest fire in Algiers is shown, this was set by the rebels to keep the police and other officials busy. Sneaky rebels...
Another egyptian long lost city is found...
The 80 year old president of Korea is shown celebrating his third term of power. Nice military display.
The construction of the trans-canada highway is shown next, blasting it's way through the rocky mountains.
After that a focus on The New Zealand army, who masterlessly scale a mountain.
A Chinese printer is shown next, he can print letters in a multitude of languages, large or (very small).
After that, a trip to the Swiss Alps, and the caves, looking at the ice formations there. Neat!
From there we observe the photographing of Sun Storms using 'Rockoons', why they're called that, I'll never know.
After THAT we observe 3 jets refueling at the same time in midair. Rather neat footage. Very Dr. Strangelove..
The lilliputian theater in San Fransisco is then shown just THRILLING the kids.
I think the kids need to get out more.
FINALLY! A tribute to Salt Lake City is shown with it's birth, it's history and the choir, it brings this film to a (thankful) close!
